SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
No Sound or Audio is Cutting Out
Check the Connection: Ensure the USB-C connector is securely inserted into the audio port on your device. A loose connection can cause sound issues
Test with Another Device: Try the headphones with a different device (PC, phone, console). If the sound works on another device, the issue may lie with your primary device’s audio settings.
Inspect the Cable: Look for any visible damage in the cable. Damage to the wire can disrupt the signal.
Adjust the Volume: Ensure that the volume on both the device and headphones is turned up and not muted.
Verify the Audio Output: Ensure your device is set to output sound through the headphones. On some devices, you may need to manually select the audio output (e.g., headphones, laptop speakers, external speakers).
Audio Only Coming From One Side
Reinsert the cable: Disconnect the headphones and plug them back in to ensure a proper connection.
Check Balance Settings: Some devices allow you to adjust the audio balance between left and right speakers. Ensure it is centered in your device audio settings or the software provided.
Inspect the Cable: A damaged or bent cable may lead to one side of the headphones not functioning properly. Test the headphones with another device to rule out any device-specific issues.
Microphone Not Working
Verify Mic is On: Ensure the mic button is not switched off on the inline controller. A red light on the mic indicates that the microphone is muted.
Test on Another Device: Try using the microphone on a different device to confirm if the problem lies with the headphones or the device.
Check Mic Permissions: Ensure that your game or communication app (e.g., Discord) has permission to access the microphone.
Check for Dirt or Sweat in the Mic Hole: Check if the mic hole is not clogged with dirt of sweat. If so, use cotton swab or toothpick to clean out the port holes.
Headphones Not Detected by Device
Check Audio Port: Ensure the device’s audio port is clean and free of debris. Dust can prevent proper contact.
Restart Your Device: Sometimes a simple restart can fix connection issues.
Update Device Drivers: Outdated drivers on PCs or consoles can prevent headphones from being detected. Visit your device manufacturer's website to download the latest drivers.
Try a Different Port: If your device has multiple audio ports, try using a different one.
Audio is Distorted or Muffled
Adjust Equalizer Settings: Check your device’s audio settings. Sometimes custom equalizer settings can affect how your headphones sound.
Clean the Jack: Dust or debris in the audio jack can lead to poor sound quality. Gently clean the headphone jack and port.
Headphones Feel Uncomfortable After Long Use
Adjust the Fit: Ensure the headband is properly adjusted for your head size, and the ear cups are positioned correctly.
Take Breaks: Wearing any headphones for extended periods can lead to discomfort. Take short breaks to relieve pressure on your ears.
Extended Use of RGB Lights: Keeping the RGB lights on for long periods can cause the headphones to heat up. To prevent overheating, turn off the RGB lighting when not needed during extended sessions.
Gaming Chat Audio is Not Clear
Check Game Settings: Ensure that the game’s audio settings are properly configured for voice chat.
Test Another Communication App: Try using the microphone and headphones on a different chat application to see if the problem persists.
Clear Microphone: Dust or debris can affect the microphone's sensitivity. Gently clean the mic if necessary.
Volume Control Wheel or Buttons Not Working
Test Another Device: Test the volume control on a different device to check if it’s a hardware or device issue.
Check for Damage: Ensure that there is no physical damage to the volume control wheel or buttons.
Sound Too Low Even at Max Volume
Adjust Device Volume Settings: Ensure that the volume on both the headphones and your device is turned up to an appropriate level.
Check Audio Settings: Use the software to adjust the sound levels, including bass, treble, and overall volume. This can help optimise your audio experience for different games or media.
Check for Volume Limiting Features: Some devices have a built-in volume limiter. Turn this off in your audio settings.
